The Plan

Dragons are one of the rare symbols shared by nearly every civilization on Earth. From East to West, North to South, dragons represent power, wisdom, chaos, protection—and most of all, imagination. Yet despite their global reach, there is no museum in the world dedicated to dragons. We’re going to change that.

[The Vision – Why D.C.]

Washington, D.C. is more than the U.S. capital. It’s a global crossroads of diplomacy, education, and culture. With its iconic museums, international embassies, and millions of annual visitors, D.C. is the perfect place to bring the world’s dragons under one roof.

The International Dragon Museum will be the first and only cultural institution of its kind—celebrating dragons across history, geography, and belief systems. It will offer immersive, interactive exhibits, original art, ancient artifacts, and educational programs that connect families, students, scholars, and tourists from every background.

It will be part of Washington’s living landscape—alongside the Smithsonian, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the National Museum of the American Indian.
